Compulsory Pilotage will apply to all vessels, all tows when navigating within the Harbour limits with the following exceptions:

Vessels of less than 40 metres

HM Ships and foreign warships

GLA tenders

Vessels shifting in berth - lines ashore

Fishing vessels of less than 47.5 metres

The provision of a Pilot is to be made through Holyhead Port Control a minimum of 24 hours prior to the vessels requirement.
